So, we were off to the Queen City at 0600. An easy flight to Dulles, a long and restful layover there, an overnight flight to Frankfurt, and that marks the end of our adventures on September 18th.

Our typical choice for a departure
airport is either Boston, Massachusetts or Manchester, New Hampshire.
Decision factors revolve around parking, hassle, flight availability,
schedule, cost, and
the like. This time we opted to leave from nearby Manchester. The
available schedules afforded long layovers in Washington, DC and
Frankfurt, Germany, and that was fine with us because we
had been awfully busy in the days leading up to our flight and
welcomed the opportunity to rest a bit and not have to run to catch
the next flight. We had been at Dulles Airport in DC a week earlier and understood the hassle associated with getting from one terminal to another there, and we didn’t want to chance it this time.
So, we were off to the Queen City at 0600. An easy flight to Dulles, a long and restful layover there, an overnight flight to Frankfurt, and that marks the end of our adventures on September 18th.
